Hawai'i has recorded four new deaths from Covid-19 over the last day with cases now exceeding 9200.

New cases surged by 211 on Thursday with 190 on O'ahu, 17 on the Big Island and four on Maui.
The death toll in the US state stood at 79 with confirmed cases reaching 9202.
Six percent of cases to-date had required hospitalisation and 93 percent were among residents in the heavily tourism dependent state.
State governor David Ige said in a Facebook Live broadcast that Thursday's numbers included results from a new mass testing programme.
He did not confirm how many cases resulted from that testing.

Non-Hawaiian Pacific Islanders in the US state suffer the highest mortality rate according to data from the Hawai'i Department of Health.
The Honolulu Civil Beat reported the group, comprising just four percent of the state's population, accounted for 16 percent of deaths.
There are over 56,000 non-Hawaiian Pacific Islanders living in the state, of whom 37,000 are from American Samoa.
A new surge of Covid-19 in Honolulu and surrounding O'ahu last month, with daily triple digit increases, led to the city ordering new stay at home measures. Non-essential businesses were ordered closed and a banning of non-essential activities was introduced.
