The days of Covid vaccine mandates are almost over. Today a broad range of changes to Covid-19 settings were announced by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.  Chief Executive of Retail-New-Zealand Greg Harford joins Karyn to discuss why he's seeking more clarity around the rules for public spaces and shops to try and protect staff.

10:25 How do we asses our own appetite for risk? 

We heard the Prime Minister earlier emphasising how hard it's been, and how tired people are after over two years of the pandemic being in Aotearoa. But now we all have new decisions to make about how much risk we're willing to accept. And those decisions will be informed by where our head is at at the time. Dr Dougal Sutherland is a Clinical Psychologist, Victoria University of Wellington and Umbrella Wellbeing and he's been thinking about how people have been handling the pandemic.

10:30 Surprise retirement announcement by Ash Barty 

World tennis No 1  twenty five year old Australian Ash Barty is retiring from the sport professionally. It was a shock announcement made today on her personal Instagram channel. Melbourne based tennis writer Courtney Walsh says it's a good news story for the sport.
