A civilian uprising continues in Sri Lanka as a shortage of basic needs pushes people to desperation. Volatile scenes in Sri Lanka have expats here worried as the South Asian country faces what is described as its worst economic meltdown since independence in 1948.

Classes for Dads to learn how to braid hair are proving to be popular in the UK. The course was organised by a company called Braid Maidens who teach the art of hair braiding mostly to 
women, but when they put on a Dad's night it was sold out, with a waiting list.
