She is returning to NZ to celebrate the album and play shows in Wellington and Auckland. 

Charlotte Ryan spoke to her and talked to her about synths,  her huge influence on people and her 56th Birthday

2:10 The Soul Rebels 

New Orleans brass band legends the Soul Rebels are due to hit New Zealand as part of Bluesfest next year.

This’ll be the first NZ tour for the eight piece band, who are renowned for their almighty stage presence and numerous explosive collaborations.

The Soul Rebels have played with everybody from Metallica to Katy Perry, and on this tour they’re bringing along some heavyweights. Wu-Tang Clan founding member and frontman GZA, aka the Genius, hip hop master Talib Kweli, and the queen of New Orleans bounce Big Freedia.

Nick Tipping talked to Lumar LeBlanc, founder and snare drum player from the Soul Rebels.
