1.15 Live cross to Womad 2023

After a two-year hiatus WOMAD returns to Taranaki. This year celebrating 20 years of music arts and dance. 
Charlotte Ryan is at womad so we'll cross to her to see how the festivities are going.

1:35  Eddie Chacon & John Kirby at Beacon Festival 

As one half of the duo Charles & Eddie, whose hit single “Would I Lie To You” was a chart-topper heard around the world, Eddie was a bona fide pop star. Chacon deserted the music business following the band’s stratospheric success. Meeting John Carroll Kirby in 2019 was the catalyst for Eddie’s return to music, and together they made the album Pleasure, Joy and Happiness.

They've just released their new single Sundown, and are currently on tour. We speak to Eddie and John ahead of their show at  Beacon Festival this weekend.
