Alistair Deverick is arguably one of this country's most underrated musicians. He's been making music under the Boycrush moniker since 2012 and RNZ Music is super stoked to present the first single off his upcoming album.
Deverick has achieved a lot in his musical career: as Boycrush he's released two EPs, the second of which included the track 'Flirt' which received high praise from the Guardian and ended up featuring on the Bad Moms soundtrack. He also opened for Lorde at her second ever show (eep!).
As a drummer Deverick's played with Neil Finn, Lawrence Arabia, Jonathan Bree and The Ruby Suns.
Today we're excited to present Boycrush's brand new single, featuring vocals from Chelsea Jade! Ladies and gentlemen, it's 'Holy Water':
'Holy Water' is the first single from Boycrush's forthcoming album Desperate Late Night Energy, due out on 15 June.
It features members of The New Zealand Dance Company.
