From Nine To Noon, 10:05 am on 27 July 2015

Pisey LengPisey Leng is well known in Raglan as the co-owner of the Raglan Bakery where her butter chicken pies are in hot demand. But what many customers don't know is that Pisey and her husband, her brother and mother who all work in the family business, survived the brutal killing fields of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia.

She came to New Zealand as a 21-year-old, and has just published a book, called The Wisdom Seeker, a first-hand account of what happened to her and her family, and how she rebuilt a new life in this country.
