Barbara Anderson had her first book (I Think We Should Go Into the Jungle) published in 1989, when she was aged 63. Since then she has enjoyed international success as a novelist and short story writer, and recently completed Getting There: an Autobiography (Victoria University Press, ISBN: 978-0-86473-590-4).

Sir Roger Moore rose to international stardom in the 1960s in the TV series The Saint, and portrayed James Bond in seven films, more than any other 007. In 2003 he was awarded a knighthood for his work for UNICEF. His autobiography is My Word is My Bond (HarperCollins, ISBN: 978-0-7322-8871-6).

9:45 Art with Mary Kisler

Mary Kisler is the Mackelvie Curator of International Art at the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki. She gave the Gordon H. Brown Lecture 2008, Displaced Legacies: European Art in New Zealand's Public Collections (based on the book she is currently writing), at Victoria University of Wellington on 20 November. Mary also curated The Enchanted Garden, which opens at Auckland Art Gallery on 13 December (to 8 February 2009).

10.05 Caitlin Smith

Jazz singer and vocal coach Caitlin Smith is one of the featured vocalists who will perform in front of a 20-piece orchestra in The Music is Bond: James Bond. This showcase of music from 45 years of James Bond films takes place at Auckland's Aotea Centre on 22 November.

10:40 The Old Spice Boys

Azo Bell (ukulele), Tim Reeves (snare drum) and Billy Milroy (tea-chest bass) are comic swing trio The Old Spice Boys. Based in Byron Bay on the north coast of New South Wales, they are currently touring New Zealand and play at the second NZ Ukulele Festival at Mt Smart Stadium on 22 November, alongside a range of local and overseas acts including a massed ukulele band of over 1000 children. The Old Spice Boys will play a daytime show at The Bunker for the Devonport Folk Club on Sunday 23 November, and an evening show at One 2 One Café in Ponsonby. On Monday 24 November they will play an evening gig at The Bunker.

Chef, food stylist and writer Jennifer McLagan has worked in London and Paris as well as her native Australia, and has lived in Toronto for 27 years. Her new book, Fat: an Appreciation of a Misunderstood Ingredient, with Recipes (Ten Speed Press, ISBN: 978-1-58008-935-7), explores the delights and benefits of eating fat.
