Police have launched a criminal investigation after a fire at a recycling plant in Alexandra on Thursday.
Alexandra Wastebusters on Boundary Road caught fire on Thursday night.
Detective Alan Lee said investigators had located the point where the fire started and it was clear it was deliberately lit.
Mr Lee said a criminal arson investigation was underway, and the police would like to speak to anyone who knew anything about the fire.
He said Alexandra was a small town, and someone would know who was responsible.
