A 19-year-old woman has died after falling off a horse during an international equestrian event in Sydney.
Caitlyn Fischer, from Bairnsdale in Victoria, fell during a cross-country competition at the Sydney International Horse Trials at Horsley Park.
Equestrian Australia chair Judy Fasher said the horse hit its foot on the fence it was jumping and fell onto Ms Fischer.
