ANZ Bank New Zealand has appointed Joan Withers as a director.
Ms Withers, who has received approval from the Reserve Bank, will take up her position at the beginning of July.
She chairs state-owned Mighty River Power, soon to be partially sold, and Auckland International Airport, and is deputy chairperson of Television New Zealand.
