A 25-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a man whose body was found lying in the middle of a Timaru street.
A member of the public reported finding the body on York Street in the suburb of Seaview just before 4am on Friday.
The arrested man was due to appear in Timaru District Court on Saturday.
The dead man was believed to be in his 20s and from Timaru.
