Police have renewed their appeal for information about an attempted armed robbery of the ANZ bank in Otaki on Monday.
During the incident, a firearm was presented at staff and a shot fired into a security door. Employees were shaken but not hurt.
Police want to hear from anyone who heard or saw anything unusual about 9.30am.
The suspect was wearing a blue mask with white teeth, and a black jacket with a white or grey stripe above and below the elbow and orange gloves.
He left the bank through the front door and the bank carpark at the rear of the building. No money was taken.
