A search has resumed for a Hokianga angler who has been missing for more than a week.
Darrel Hamilton, 48, has not been seen since Tuesday last week when he put out a set net on tidal flats on the north side of Hokianga harbour.
Coastguard Hokianga was out on the water early on Friday morning and Coastguard Auckland sent an air patrol.
Friends and family of Mr Hamilton, who is a father of three, continued searching the shoreline on foot.
