An 11-year-old boy has died after falling off his bike while riding with friends in Westport.
Police say the accident happened on Peel Street about 3.30pm on Sunday.
A passing motorist took the boy to hospital but medical staff could not save him.
A police spokesperson says no other vehicles were involved and the coroner will determine the cause of death.
