Police are reviewing security camera images with the aim of finding out who stabbed a man in central Auckland after two groups got into a fight.
A man, 20, is in hospital with a stomach wound from the incident in Albert Street just after 2am on Saturday.
Police said members of both groups were helping with their inquiries. Bit it was too early yet to identify an offender or lay charges.
