One person is dead after crashing their microlight in Te Mapara, Waikato.
Police said the crash happened around 2.40pm, near State Highway 3 in Te Mapara.
They said the pilot of the single-seater microlight had died.
The police are conducting a scene examination and the Civil Aviation Authority will be notified.
