Police in Wanaka are calling for witnesses to an attack at a local tourist attraction.

Detective Alan Lee said three men assaulted an Australian tourist at the Puzzling World maze about 3.30pm yesterday.
Police said it appeared he intervened after the three men verbally abused an Indian man in a racially motivated attack.
The tourist was not seriously injured.
Mr Lee said police were looking for a black Mazda ute with the numberplate ABA406, which had a quad bike on the back.
He also asked for anyone with pictures or video of the incident to contact police.
