Auckland commuters had to show a little extra patience this morning to allow for ducks crossing.

The NZ Transport Agency alerted commuters at around 7:45 this morning that motorists should allow a little extra time citybound on the Northern Motorway.
Cars are seen waiting for ducks crossing near Tristram Ave, Southbound on State Highway One, causing minor delays.
The NZTA said police escorted all the ducks to safety.
