Police searching for a missing 26-year-old Wellington woman have found a body at a beach in the Wairarapa.

Sonam Shelar, who was five months pregnant, was last seen on Saturday morning on Cashmere Avenue in Khandallah.
The body found today was still to be formally identified, but was believed to be Ms Shelar, police said.
Her next of kin have been notified and the case has been referred to the Coroner.
The police investigation is ongoing and they are working closely with Ms Shelar's family to find out what happened to her.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen Ms Shelar on Friday or Saturday.
She was last seen wearing a brown jacket with fur on the hood, as well as white, black and orange trainers.
