Police are responding to a fatal crash on Hakarimata Road, Huntly.
Emergency services were called to the single vehicle crash at 8:35pm tonight .
One person has died at the scene and the other occupant of the car has minor injuries, they said.
The road is closed and diversions are in place at both the Huntly and Ngaruawahia ends of Hakarimata Road.
