A person who was critically injured last week in a crash in the Manawatū-Whanganui region has died today.
The person was airlifted to Wellington Hospital after two cars collided on State Highway 1, in Mangaweka, on 14 October.
In a statement today, police said the person died in hospital today.
Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
