Police in the Waipa District have arrested a 33-year-old, charged with indecently assaulting and intimidating a girl under the age of 12.
Officers received several reports of a man making inappropriate advances towards women in the Cambridge area.
Detective Sergeant Harry Hodgson expressed his thanks to members of the public for giving them the information they needed to make the arrest.
The arrested man, who is 33, is expected to appear in the Cambridge District Court on Friday.
