A man who sailed a yacht reported missing from Motueka yesterday has been arrested in the Marlborough Sounds.
Tasman police said the 28-year-old was arrested late last night, allegedly breaking into a bach.
The missing 10-metre yacht Dreamer, had been found found moored in Okiwi Bay.
The man admitted to police he had sailed the yacht to the bay and was getting supplies to sail it further when he was caught.
He is due to appear in the Blenheim District Court later today charged with burglary.
