Westland Milk Products says it is branching out from its traditional milk powder and butter products to include a protein plant and yogurt.
The company's chief executive Rod Quin says the company is moving from a commodity-based model to a nutritional dairy company.
The addition of a protein plant and the acquisition of EasiYo are steps on that path, he says.
