The New Zealand Warriors overcame poor weather conditions to claim a 30 to 16 National Rugby League victory over the Penrith Panthers on Monday night in Sydney.
The Warriors led 12-0 in the first half after two Manu Vatuvei tries but Penrith came back to go into half time leading 16-12.
The Warriors secured the result with three second-half tries.
The result means the Warriors move within two points of the top eight into ninth on the NRL standings.
