Russian long jumper Tatyana Kotova has been provisionally suspended after a re-analysis of a sample dating back to the 2005 World Championships.

The Russian Anti-Doping Agency says the sample was taken on August 10, 2005, during the World Championships in Helsinki.

RUSADA says Kotova has been suspended from participating in any capacity in a training camp or competition until the decision has been rendered on the case.

A three-time world indoor champion, Kotova has also won three outdoor World Championship silver medals, including at Helsinki in 2005, and one bronze medal.

In addition, she won silver at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the 2004 Athens Games.
