Tusi Pisi to start for Hurricanes

9:37 am on 11 April 2013

The Samoan International first five-eighth Tusi Pisi will get his first start for the Hurricanes this season, when they take on the Blues at Eden Park on Saturday.

Pisi's inclusion in the starting line up comes at the expense of the Hurricane's star fullback from last season Andre Taylor, who's been dropped to the bench with the All Black Beuden Barret set to wear the number 15 jersey.

Assistant coach Alama Ieremia says Pisi offers a different style of attack for the Hurricanes, who're out to avenge their second round 34-20 loss to the Blues in Wellington.

Other changes to the Hurricanes include the bracketing of All Black front rowers Ben Franks and Dane Coles who could return from injury for Saturday's game.

Julian Savea's 19-year-old brother Ardie will play his second game in a row for the Hurricanes on the openside flank.
