Second T20 match abandoned

7:00 am on 29 June 2013

The second Twenty20 cricket international between England and New Zealand at The Oval has been abandoned because of rain, handing the Black Caps a 1-0 series victory.

Just two deliveries were possible with England two for one, and Mitchell McClenaghan picking up the wicket.

New Zealand won the opening match by five runs.

It is the end of the New Zealand tour which included a 2-0 test series loss, a one day series victory and failing to qualify for the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy.
