The all-rounder Albie Morkel has been included in South Africa's 12-man squad for the remaining two Tests of the three-match series against Australia.

Morkel clubbed 105 runs at an average of 52 and a strike rate of 184 in the one-day series in Australia in January.

He's played 35 one-day internationals but no Tests while his brother Morne, 24, has played 16 Tests, including the first Test in Johannesburg, where Australia won by 162 runs overnight.

Morne Morkel took only four wickets at the Wanderers and could face a challenge from his older brother for his place in the side for Friday's second Test in Durban.
