Jo Edwards (possibly) bows out in style

The New Zealand lawn bowler Jo Edwards has won the final of the World Cup indoor women's singles in Australia.

In what may be her last international appearance Edwards beat the Australian favourite, Karen Murphy, 7-2, 3-9, 2-1 at Warilla.

The game went to a tie-break with Edwards making two stunning shots to win the third and final set for an historic New Zealand double.

Edwards' young female Black Jacks team-mate, Genevieve Baildon, won the World Junior Cup women's title yesterday.

It's the first time New Zealand has taken out both women's titles.
