NRL to investigate Hurrell sex tape

The NRL rugby league Integrity Unit is investigating a sex tape involving Warriors centre Konrad Hurrell.

A video reportedly depicting Warriors player Hurrell driving while engaged in a sex act surfaced on the internet on Sunday night.

It appears the video was filmed on a phone and circulated on social messaging service Instagram before being deleted.

New Zealand actress Teuila Blakely confirmed she was the woman in the video.

Blakely told the New Zealand Herald the film was taken two months ago and Hurrell sent it to a friend on Snapchat, an app which allows users to send photos and videos which are then automatically deleted after a short period of time.

She says she did not know who uploaded the video onto the internet.

The Warriors are also investigating the matter, but wouldn't comment further.

The NRL's chief operating officer Jim Doyle says the league's integrity unit was looking into the incident and was waiting for the Warriors to report back.
