Look back at match commentary here.

On a calm night at Waikato Stadium, New Zealand enjoyed a flurry of tries in the second half after spending the majority of the first half defending.

The visitors were the ones to strike first through Santiago Cordero.

The wing ran in under the posts within the first three minutes after a break up the middle by the halfback Martin Landajo.

Beauden Barrett had a chance to close the seven point gap just five minutes later from a sideline penalty but his kick found the left hand upright.

A charge down by Dane Coles just moments later lead to the All Blacks first points of the game when the hosts regained possession and went onto score under the posts themselves through Julian Savea.

The score changed again in the 15th minute when Nicholas Sanchez kicked a penalty from 30 metres out off the restart.

Sanchez added another three in the 18th minute from a similar distance.

The All Blacks claimed the lead for the first time in the match in the 24th minute when Ben Smith broke through the Argentinian defensive line after a sustained period of attack from New Zealand.

It was a short lived lead though, Sanchez kicked his third penalty of the night in the 27th minute after Barrett was penalised inside his own half.

After missing his first two attempts, Barrett was taken off penalty kicking duty and instead Israel Dagg made the first three pointer of the night for the All Blacks with a kick of about 50 metres in the 31st minute.

Some good vision and a grubber kick from Ben Smith set up Beauden Barrett for New Zealand's third try of the match.

The All Blacks went into the sheds at half time with a 24-19 lead after a late penalty from Nicholas Sanchez cut the lead to five.

The first points of the second half came the same way as the first - a penalty to Sanchez right out in front, bringing Argentina back to within two points.

That was the closest that Argentina got in the second spell as the All Blacks ran in two tries within three minutes, one to Ryan Crotty and the other to Charlie Faumuina.

Both tries came off the back of solid sets of phases from the All Blacks after they had spent much of the first 50 minutes without the ball.

Ryan Crotty scored his second try of the night when he received a short pass from TJ Perenara off an All Blacks scrum right on Argentina's five metre line.

Ben Smith was the next All Black to score a double after he outran three defenders from halfway off the back of an Argentina bomb.

Luke Romano was the last All Black to cross the line, scoring late in the match off a cross field kick from Aaron Cruden that ricocheted backwards off the chest of Dagg.

The eight tries to one victory is the All Blacks' biggest of the Rugby Championship and keeps them firmly on top of the competition ladder.
