After a two weeks of tough competition at the World Junior Women's Squash Championships in Boston, the New Zealand contingent have beaten Wales to take out seventh place in the teams event.
Manawatu's Danielle Fourie beat Fiona Murphy in straight games to start the clash followed by New Zealand No1 Megan Craig who dropped the second set but was ahead when her opponent retired from the match.
Wellington's Rebecca Barnett did not play the 'dead' match as the contest was already a win to New Zealand 2-0.
By finishing seventh the New Zealanders end up one place ahead of their previous result from two years ago.
