New chair elected to Wellington Maori organisation

There's a new leadership line-up at Port Nicholson Block Settlement Trust - the business arm of Taranaki Whanui.

Neville Baker has been elected to the position of chair.

While Toa Pomare takes the deputy role.

A former chair of the trust, Sir Ngatata Love, took leave of absence from the job last year, when the Serious Fraud Office announced it was carrying out an investigation into another Maori organisation he was in charge of - Wellington Tenths Trust.
