A flu epidemic that has killed 29 children in the United States is easing.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 48 states reported widespread influenza. Many parts of the country still have the epidemic, but overall it was abating.
The CDC said nine of the 29 children died from complications in the past two weeks.
