Men convicted in the Australian state of Victoria for having gay sex, before it was decriminalised, are set to have the convictions removed from their records.
The ABC reports gay sex was decriminalised in 1980 but many men still carry convictions from the previous law.
The state government will introduce laws this year that will give men the opportunity to have the convictions wiped from their record.
Premier Denis Napthine made the announcement at a gay and lesbian Festival on Sunday.
