Police in Pakistan say at least 10 people have been killed and at least 20 injured in a suicide bomb attack near the north-western city of Peshawar.
The blast ripped through a busy cattle market on the outskirts of the city reports the BBC.
Officers say the bomber appeared to have been targeting a local mayor, who was killed in the attack.
Islamist militants have unleashed a campaign of attacks in Pakistan in recent weeks in retaliation for an army offensive in South Waziristan.
