U.S. tenor Aaron Sheehan who sings the title role in this new opera ballet, says it's the love story of Orpheus and Eurydice that has motivated composers for centuries to bring the story to life.

Ex-Wellington harpsichordist Donald Nicholson has created the score from the many different baroque versions but won't say if Michael Parmenter's vision ends with tragedy or hope.
