'No easy fix to address obesity' - Pacific health leader

About 70 to 80 percent of adults are living with obesity in Tonga, American Samoa and Nauru. 

It was revealed in part of a study on worldwide trends in underweight and obesity published in The Lancet medical journal.

The highest rates of obesity in the world for women was in Tonga and American Samoa and for men it was American Samoa and Nauru. 

Pasifika health leader, Sir Collin Tukuitonga told RNZ Pacific's Caleb Fotheringham there's no easy fix to addressing obesity.
