In a longitudinal study by the University of Otago, researchers followed 1,000 children from birth to age 32 and found that kids with self discipline, perseverance and conscientiousness were more likely to be healthier and wealthier as adults than their more impulsive peers. This is the first study that provides hard evidence that childhood self-control does influence adult outcomes regardless of IQ or social background.

American coffee fanatic Winter wants to have a coffee at every Starbucks in the world. That's 16,706 stores. He's conquered New Zealand, driving from Auckland to Invercargill just for a few cups of Joe and now he's Sydney. He's had more than 10-thousand coffees in 24 countries. Mostly flat whites. They've used their clinical experience to write a book called Release your Worries - A Guide To Letting Go of Stress and Anxiety.
