Border busy as Aucklanders leave for study, caregiving, new jobs

Hundreds of people have been allowed across the Auckland boundary today and leave lockdown behind.

People can now leave Tāmaki Makaurau if they are moving permanently, or heading to university accommodation.

Cross-border shared caregiving set-ups are also back on the cards.

Reporter Nick Truebridge and camerman Nick Monro spoke to some of those leaving lockdown.
