The number of confirmed cases of a parasitic gastro outbreak in Queenstown has almost doubled to 15.
A boil water notice is still in place for anyone connected to the public supply including tourist accommodation.
The council says it is continuing to test water supplies, but there is currently no confirmed link; but its taking a cautious approach.
A Queenstown restaurant owner says they didn't officially find out about a parasitic outbreak of crypto-sporidium for more than 12 hours after the boil water notice was issued.
