Minister pours cold water on the supercity election

The Minister of Transport Steven Joyce has poured cold water on some ambitious campaign pledges being made by candidates for the Auckland super city mayoralty. Mr Joyce told a conference in Auckland that some mayoral candidates need to think hard about how some of their promises might be paid for.
