Great Barrier Island is home to fewer than a thousand people, many of whom struggle to find worthwhile work there. Marine farming could provide jobs for islanders, and the government is considering opening up harbours round the country to new aquaculture operations. David Steemson has been finding out what local "Great Barrier-ites" think.
