News Zealand's relationship with China and Hong Kong

The Five Eyes Intelligence Group made up of New Zealand, Australia, Britain, the United States and Canada objects to new rules allowing elected representatives to be sacked from the Hong Kong Legislature. The Chinese Government has sent a strong response after the Five Eyes Group criticized Beijing for trying to silence political opposition in Hong Kong, and New Zealand's Minister of Foreign Affairs has said she cannot assess if the statement is a threat.
