The chief executive of MediaWorks says Magic Talk host John Banks will never work at the organisation again on his watch, after a storm over the former Auckland mayor's racist remarks.
Mr Banks agreed with a caller who said the Māori culture was from the "Stone Age".
In an internal message to staff, MediaWorks chief executive, Cam Wallace, said John Banks will never work at the company again, and believes it's an isolated incident.
Companies have suspended their advertising with Magic Talk en masse.
