Far North Council ditches plans for SNAs after backlash

From Midday Report, 12:13 pm on 27 July 2021

But the Council has changed its plans, after tangata whenua and farmers came out against the proposal, saying it undermined their sovereignty and property rights. Māni Dunlop spoke to Te Poari o Ngāti Wai chief executive, Huhana Lyndon.
