Wellington's Centreport building set for demolition

Another major building in Wellington that was damaged by last year's 7.8 magnitude earthquake is to be demolished. The city's port company and the building's owner, Centreport, say it'll cost too much to repair Statistics House, after almost a year of negotiations between the port and insurers. Several buildings in Wellington have already been demolished, but there's still a long list waiting for assessments and insurance claims. Mike Mendonca is the Wellington City Council's chief resilience officer and joins us to discuss the ongoing quake issues.
