Chemical contamination found in Bulls water

Toxic chemicals believed to have come from fire fighting foam has been found in the drinking water of the Rangitikei town of Bulls. They are at levels well under maximum safety guidelines but the fact the chemicals are in the water beneath Bulls at all is mystifying investigators. The Defence Force says it's highly unlikely the chemicals come from the Ohakea airbase as Bulls' supply wells are higher than the base. Mayor of Rangitikei Andy Watson spoke to RNZ reporter Phil Pennington.
